An outstanding dessert.  Worth the work

  • Prep: 2 hrs
  • Yields: 1 gallon

Directions

1Add sugar gradually to beaten eggs.

2Continue to beat until mixture is very stiff.

3Add remaining ingredients and mix thoroughly.

4Pour into gallon freezer and freeze as directed.

Ingredients

4 eggs

2 1/4 cups sugar

5 cups milk

4 cups heavy cream

4 1/2 teaspoons vanilla

1/2 teaspoon salt
