Directions

1Stud each whole orange with 10 to 12 whole cloves. Place on a baking sheet and bake in a 300 oven for 2 hours, or until juices start to run. Transfer to a heatproof serving bowl (or copper pan). Pour warm rum over the oranges: ignite, and flame.

2Pour in hot apple cider and add cinnamon sticks.

3Keep hot over a warmer during serving time, ladling into small heatproof punch cups.

4If you wish stir in additional rum!

6 oranges

6 dozen whole cloves

1 cup warm rum

4 quarts hot apple cider

3 sticks cinnamon
