1Finely chop cranberries in processor using on/off turns. Transfer to large bowl.
2Finely mince peel with sugar in processor.
3Add to berries. Stir in pears. Blend in Port.
4Cover and refrigerate at least 4 hours before serving.
Can be prepared 1 week ahead.
1 pound fresh cranberries
2 teaspoons grated orange peel
3/4 cup sugar
1 pound ripe pears, unpeeled, chopped
1/3 cup ruby Port
