Prep: 45 mins Cook: 2 hrs Directions 1Dust beef with flour and brown in bacon drippings. 2Add beef broth, wine, parsley, garlic & thyme. 3Pour in a two quart casserole, cover. Bake at 350 for one hour. 4Add potatoes, onions and carrots. Bake another hour. 5Brown mushrooms in butter. 6To serve, sprinkle casserole with bacon and mushrooms. This works well in the crock pot.
