Beef Brisket

Directions

1Begin with a trimmed beef brisket. Allow about 1/2 pound per person. Season both sides with liquid smoke, celery salt, garlic salt, onion salt and pepper. Place in large pan and seal the top of the pan with foil. Be sure the fat side of the meat is up. Place in refrigerator overnight.

2Place meat in cold oven. Set at 275. Do not remove foil at any time. Bake one hour for each pound of meat. Then remove foil and cover meat with prepared BBQ sauce. Bake another hour at the same temperature.

3Let stand at least one hour before slicing.
