Prosciutto and Asparagus Pasta

Directions

1Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain and return to pot.

2Meanwhile, heat oil in a large frying pan over medium-high heat.

3Cook onion, garlic, and mushrooms until fragrant, about 2 minutes.

4Add prosciutto and asparagus and cook until asparagus is bright green, about 2 minutes.

5Add cream, cheese and seasonings.

6Reduce heat to simmer and cook until sauce has thickened, about 4 minutes.

7Pour sauce with vegetables over pasta and toss to coat.

8Serve with more Parmesan cheese.

8 ounces angel hair pasta

1 tablespoon olive oil

1/2 onion, sliced

2 cloves garlic, minced

4 cups mushrooms, sliced

4 ounces thinly sliced prosciutto, cut in strips

1 pound asparagus, cut in 1" pieces

1 1/2 cups whipping cream

1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, grated

pepper & chili flakes
