Mary’s Pie Crust

Directions

1Combine flour, shortening and salt into a coarse meal.

2Add water and mix to form a ball. Less is better.

3Roll on a floured surface. Place in pie pan and crimp edges.

4The less the dough is handle/beaten the more tender it will be.

Single Crust

1/2 cup Butter

2/3 cup Flour

3 tbsp Water

Double Crust

3/4 cup Butter

2 cups Flour

4 tbsp Water
