Chocolate Lovers Peanut Butter Brownies

Directions

1Heat oven to 350 degrees.

2Stir peanut butter until evenly mixed throughout; measure after stirring.

3Combine brown sugar, 1-1/4 cups of peanut butter and 1/2 cup butter in medium bowl; mix until smooth.

4Stir in eggs; beat until well mixed.

5Combine flour, baking powder and salt; stir into peanut butter mixture.

6Stir until well mixed.

7Pour into a greased 13 X 9 inch baking pan.

8Bake 25 - 30 minutes or until brownies begin to pull away from sides. Cool on wire rack.

Frosting

1Combine remaining peanut butter, butter, powdered sugar, vanilla and 3 tablespoons of milk. Beat until smooth.

2Stir in remaining milk until frosting is spreading consistency.

3Spread over brownies.

4Sprinkle on chocolate chips; press in lightly.

1 16 oz. jar smooth Laua Scudder's peanut butter, divided

1 1/2 cups brown sugar, firmly packed

3/4 cup butter, melted and divided

4 eggs, lightly beaten

1 cup flour

1 teaspoon baking powder

dash of salt

Frosting

Remaining peanut butter

3 cups powdered sugar

1/2 teaspoon vanilla

5 tablespoons milk

1 cup chocolate chips
