Chicken Thyme

Directions

1Melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic and thyme. Brown chicken for about 20 minutes. Add mushrooms.

2In small saucepan, combine the rest of the ingredients. Bring to a boil and pour over chicken. Simmer 30-40 minutes until tender. Remove chicken.

3Combine 1 tablespoon of flour and 2 tablespoons of cold water. Add to pan drippings. Stir until thick and bubbly.

3 pounds boned and skinned chicken breasts

3 tablespoons butter or margarine

1 clove garlic, minced

3/4 teaspoon dried thyme, crushed

1/2 pound mushrooms, sliced

3/4 cup water

3 tablespoons white wine

2 tablespoons lemon juice
