0 Full-screen Snickerdoodles Cookies December 24, 2016 Prep: 30 mins Cook: 10 mins Yields: 5 Dozen Directions 1Cream butter with 1 1/2 cups sugar in large bowl. 2Add eggs and vanilla and continue beating 1 minute. 3Sift flour, cream of tartar, baking soda and salt in medium bowl. 4Stir into egg mixture. 5Refrigerate dough at least 30 minutes. 6Mix remaining 1/2 cup sugar and cinnamon in shallow dish. 7Shape dough into 1 inch balls and roll in sugar mixture. 8Arrange on greased baking sheet. 9Bake in 400 degree oven until golden, 10 - 12 minutes. Cool on rack.
