Directions

1Sprinkle bacon over pie shell and top with cheese. Combine the eggs and cream in a medium bowl and whisk until well blended. Mix in seasonings. Pour over cheese. Bake in 350 degree oven until quiche is lightly browned, about 1 hour.

2Cut in wedges and serve.

Ingredients

1/4 pound bacon, diced and cooked

1 unbaked 9" pie shell

1/2 pound Gruyere cheese, grated

5 eggs

2 cups whipping cream

salt & pepper

freshly grated nutmeg
