A rich pie that is a family favorite!

  • Prep: 30 mins

Directions

1Cream first three ingredients with an electric mixer for 5 minutes.

2Add 1 egg and cream for 5 minutes more.

3Add another egg and cream for an additional 5 minutes.

4Add 1 teaspoon vanilla and cream for 2 minutes.

5Pour into an 8 inch baked pie shell.

6Refrigerate for at least six hours.

Serve topped with whipped cream.
Double the recipe for a 9 inch pie.

1/4 pound butter

1 1/2 square unsweetened baking chocolate squares

3/4 cup sugar

2 eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla
