Mary’s Chocolate Cake Frosting

Directions

1Cream butter and powdered sugar. Add vanilla, chocolate and a pinch of salt. Beat egg whites until stiff. Beat in the remaining powdered sugar. Fold the two mixtures together.

Enough to frost one two-layer cake.

4 tablespoons butter

3/4 cup sifted powdered sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla

2 squares baking chocolate, melted

2 egg whites

3/4 cup powdered sugar
