Buttermilk Pecan Chicken

Directions

1Preheat oven to 350. Place butter in large shallow roasting pan and melt in oven. Remove and set aside.

2Mix buttermilk and egg in shallow dish. Combine flour, ground pecans, sesame seeds, paprika, salt and pepper to taste in a medium bowl.

3Coat chicken in buttermilk mixture, then in flour mixture. Place in roasting pan, turning to coat all sides with butter.

4Scatter pecan halves over chicken and bake 40 minutes or until chicken is deep golden brown.

1 cup buttermilk

1 egg, lightly beaten

1 cup flour

1 cup pecans, ground

1/4 cup sesame seeds

1 tablespoon paprika

1 tablespoon salt

pepper

4 chicken breasts, boned and skinned
